Preston Williams' Season Is Over
5 years agoMiami Dolphins rookie wide receiver Preston Williams (knee) will miss the rest of the season after suffering an injury in the Week 9 win over the Jets. This comes as Williams posted his best line of the season on Sunday with five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns against the Jets. He'll finish an impressive first year that saw him haul in 32 of his 60 targets for 428 yards and three touchdowns. Williams can struggle with drops at times, but he's certainly one of Miami's building blocks for the future in the offense. In his absence the rest of the way, Albert Wilson and Allen Hurns should join Devante Parker in three-wide sets, while tight end Mike Gesicki could be a TE2 sleeper the rest of the way.
