Preston Williams On Schedule For Week 1
5 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams (knee), who tore his ACL last November, is on schedule to be ready for the start of the 2020 season, according to a team source. Williams isn't yet taking part in on-field sessions among teammates, but he has been jogging and the team is hopeful that he'll be ready for the season opener. The vision in Miami is for Williams and DeVante Parker to start on the outside, with Albert Wilson manning the slot. The Dolphins might be cautious with Williams in training camp, and it's unknown if he'll play in the preseason. He'll also have access to the team facilities starting this week as a rehabbing player. The 23-year-old looked good before going down with an injury in 2019, but he's also struggled with drops in his young career and will be a late-round, wild-card upside pick for those in deeper leagues.
