Preston Williams Activated From The PUP
3 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams (foot) was removed from the Physically Unable to Perform list on Thursday. He will practice Thursday, but it's unclear if the Dolphins wideout will suit up for the second preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. The 24-year-old had foot surgery last November and had been unable to practice this offseason. Williams will look to secure the Dolphins WR4 role and is currently behind Jaylen Waddle, DeVante Parker, and Will Fuller on the wide receiver depth chart. The Colorado State product hauled in 18 catches for 288 yards and four touchdowns over eight games in 2020. Williams has had trouble staying healthy throughout his career and has been limited to 16 games over the past two seasons, and with his current role in the offense, he is a borderline top-100 wide receiver in 2021.
