Poona Ford Agrees To Three-Year Deal With Rams
1 min agoFree-agent defensive lineman Poona Ford and the Los Angeles Rams agreed to terms on a three-year deal on Monday worth just under $30 million with $17 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Ford had a career rebirth last year with the Los Angeles Chargers, collecting 39 tackles (24 solo), a career-high-tying three sacks, eight tackles for loss, nine QB hits, his first career interception and five pass breakups in 17 regular-season starts. The 29-year-old defensive tackle will stay in L.A. for at least another three years after playing on one-year pacts each of the last three campaigns. The former undrafted free agent out of Texas debuted in the NFL in 2018 with the Seattle Seahawks and spent his first five years in the league in Seattle. Despite a bounce-back season in 2024 with the Chargers, Ford should be avoided in IDP fantasy formats this fall with only 11.5 career sacks in seven seasons.
