2 years agoThe start of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season has been a great one for Christopher Bell. Through the first eight races of the year, Bell is leading the points standings (by 13 over Ross Chastain) and has a series-leading five top 5s and six top 10s. Bell's only blunders this year have been at Auto Club and COTA, and he wrecked in each of those races. Every other event this season has seen the Joe Gibbs Racing driver finish 6th or better, including his win at Bristol Dirt last weekend. As far as Martinsville goes, Bell is the most recent winner at this race track, leading 150 laps and securing the victory here last fall. Look for the #20 Toyota to be strong once again in Sunday's NOCO 400. He qualified 22nd for this race, which isn't great, but don't forget that Bell won from the 20th starting spot last fall.--Jordan McAbee
