Charlotte Hornets power forward PJ Washington had an efficient evening on the offensive side of the ball against the Dallas Mavericks. On Saturday night, Washington had 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and one block. He made nine of his 12 field-goal attempts and went 1-for-1 from behind the three-point line. Washington has been fairly consistent over his last 10 games, as he has scored between 13 and 20 points in all 10 contests and collected between four and 10 rebounds as well. He should be owned more than his 23% ownership on ESPN because of his consistency and likelihood of continuing to earn valuable minutes and experience on a surprise playoff contender. The line on the graph is trending up for Washington.--Euan Leith

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against Chicago after missing the last two games. Dallas is fighting to at least make the Play-In, so having Washington back in the lineup is excellent news. Anthony Davis (adductor) is also good to go. But with Daniel Gafford (knee), Kyrie Irving (knee), and Dereck Lively II (ankle) ruled out, the former Hornet should continue to get all the minutes he can handle while seeing a few extra looks at the basket.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will not play on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. He has been ruled out for a second consecutive game due to a left ankle sprain. Naji Marshall figures to take on a larger role again with Washington unavailable. He had a career night with 38 points in Tuesday's matchup against the New York Knicks. The 27-year-old has been an efficient scorer throughout the month, notching 22.2 points on 53.7 percent shooting with 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.5 steals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is unavailable for Tuesday's matchup with the New York Knicks. Washington has been dealing with a sprained left ankle that will keep him out of the lineup. With the 26-year-old sidelined, players like Naji Marshall, Max Christie, Kessler Edwards and Klay Thompson will likely be relied upon to take extra minutes during Tuesday's contest. Fantasy managers may want to look at Marshall as an option this evening. He exploded for 22 points, four rebounds and two assists across 27 minutes coming off the bench on Monday against the Nets.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will play on Sunday versus Philadelphia. The Mavs have struggled keeping players on the floor this season. Fortunately, the team will get Washington back from a seven-game absence caused by a sprained right ankle. The 26-year-old is having one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 14.0 points, 1.2 steals, and a career-high 8.1 rebounds. Kyrie Irving (knee) is done for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign and Anthony Davis (adductor) remains out. As such, Washington has an excellent chance to lead the team in scoring on most nights for the foreseeable future. With his return, Kessler Edwards will presumably head back to the bench after averaging 8.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 44.8% shooting from deep in 15 starts this season.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
