Pittsburgh Slated To Host Shedeur Sanders
3 days agoFOX Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders for a visit on Thursday. Schultz also notes that Pittsburgh remains "very interested" in veteran QB Aaron Rodgers but has done extensive work on this year's slew of signal-callers. The Steelers hold the No. 21 pick. Sanders has been a polarizing prospect throughout the pre-draft process, linked to a few teams now, scattered throughout the first round. He was an accurate distributor in his senior season, posting career highs across the board, averaging 318.0 passing yards per game. It will be interesting to see how high the 23-year-old is selected and the situation he finds himself in. Sanders was often schemed open throws underneath last year at Colorado, contributing to his outstanding 74% completion rate. We'll see if he can elevate his play on the NFL field.
