Pirates Reportedly Sign Nate Webb To Minor League Deal
2 years agoAccording to a tweet from FanSided's Robert Murray on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Pirates have reportedly signed right-hander Nate Webb to a minor league deal. Per Murray's tweet, the deal comes with an invitation to spring training. Webb, a 34th-round draft pick in the 2016 draft by the Kansas City Royals, pitched at three different levels of minors for the American League Central franchise last season. He'll give the Pirates some additional bullpen depth after Duane Underwood Jr., Robert Stephenson, Yohan Ramirez, Yerry De Los Santos, and closer David Bednar.
