Pierre-Luc Dubois Stays Hot In Saturday's Win
5 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets center Pierre-Luc Dubois registered a second-period goal to help give his team a 3-0 road victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday night. The 21-year-old also finished his night with a plus-one rating, five shots on goal and one takeaway in 14:47 of ice time in the contest. Dubois has taken his game to a new level since the calendar turned to 2020, recording seven points (two goals, five assists), 11 shots and six hits in six games since the new year. Centering the Jackets first line, Dubois can be considered one of the top young two-way centers in the game today. In addition to being strong in his own end, Dubois has followed up a 61-point season in 2018-2019 with 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists), 109 shots and 56 hits in 46 games on the campaign. He's under-owned in fantasy hockey (66% owned in Yahoo! leagues) and should be considered a borderline top-125 asset in most fantasy formats. He'll take the ice next versus the Bruins on Tuesday.
