Pierre-Luc Dubois Plays Setup Role On Wednesday
5 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets center Pierre-Luc Dubois racked up a trio of assists in helping his team take care of the Winnipeg Jets by a 4-3 score on Wednesday night. The 21-year-old, who now has 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 11 games in 2020, filled the scoresheet in this one - also contributing a plus-three rating, two shots and two hits in 20:49 of ice time in the winning effort. Dubois' recent uptick in production has played a major role in his team's current six-game win streak, as the Jackets have relied on its number-one center to continue his effectiveness in the defensive zone as well. Checking in at the All-Star break with 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists), a plus-five rating, 113 shots and 65 hits through 51 games, the Quebec native's well-rounded production has enabled him to be a top-100 producer in most fantasy formats. In the midst of just his third NHL season, Dubois is only starting to scratch the surface in terms of the offensive value he should bring for years to come.
