6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garcon has had a quiet start to the season, averaging just 6.9 fantasy points per game in PPR formats. His Week 3 outlook could depend on the status of teammate Marquise Goodwin. If Goodwin is in the lineup, Garcon’s value takes a considerable hit. Regardless, starting the 32-year-old receiver comes with plenty of risk since he is yet to hit double-digit fantasy totals in either game to start the season. Consider Garcon as a flex option in deeper formats because of his favorable matchup. The Kansas City defense is allowing 52.9 points per game to opposing receivers, which is 30th in the NFL. It is also worth noting that Garcon is still looking for his first touchdown as a member of the 49ers, after scoring zero in 2017.--Mike Dente
