5 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. The Broncos are likely just giving Lindsay a breather as we approach the second half of the season, but this injury is worth watching after the 2018 breakout had offseason wrist surgery. He's been a disappointment so far in 2019 while splitting the backfield work almost evenly with Royce Freeman. Freeman has also vultured touchdowns the last two weeks. Cleveland's run defense has been suspect this year, though, so Lindsay should be seen as an RB2 this weekend with a chance to return to paydirt. Expect Denver to lean more on their ground game with Brandon Allen now taking over for Joe Flacco (neck) under center.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
