Phillip Lindsay Has Entered NFL's Concussion Protocol
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (head) has entered the league's concussion protocol. Lindsay suffered a concussion in the first half of this week's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Lindsay was effective against KC before he left, rushing the ball nine times for a team-high 79 yards (8.8 yards per carry). He should be considered questionable, at best, for the team's Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. If Lindsay is forced to sit out the game, Melvin Gordon would handle a heavy workload for the team and would carry RB2 value against his former team. Lindsay should remain owned in all leagues. He is averaging 5.2 yards per carry on the year, which is a solid notch above Gordon's 4.3 yards per carry.
