Phillip Lindsay Carries the Broncos to a W
6 years agoThe Denver Broncos scored three touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday. Running back Phillip Lindsay was responsible for two of them. Lindsay received just 11 carries with Royce Freeman back in action, but made the most of his touches averaging 7.2 yards per carry en route to 79 yards - he also brought in four of five targets for an additional 27 yards through the air. Week 11 marks the fourth time Lindsay has gone over 100 scrimmage yards this season -- bringing his per game average to 85.7 -- and his consistent production keeps him in the RB2 conversation heading into a tough matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12.
