2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies acquired right-hander Yunior Marte from the San Francisco Giants on Monday in a trade between the two National League clubs. The Phillies announced the deal in a tweet from the team's official Twitter account on Monday. Philadelphia is sending left-handed pitching prospect Erik Miller to the Giants. Marte pitched to a 5.44 ERA and a 4.38 FIP in 39 appearances spanning 48 innings for San Francisco last season as a relief pitcher. The 27-year-old also registered 44 strikeouts, 22 walks, and a pair of holds. Miller, meanwhile, was a fourth-round pick in 2019 and logged a 3.54 ERA in 48.1 innings split between Double-A and Triple-A last season.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
