5 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies are in the midst of adding Drew Smyly to their pitching staff. Smyly began the season with the Rangers before the Brewers took him on and gave him a shot at Triple-A, but his stint with the organization didn't last long. Smyly started nine games for the Rangers this season and compiled an atrocious 8.42 ERA and 1.91 WHIP. There's speculation that he could join the Phillies' rotation this weekend, potentially forcing Vince Velasquez to the bullpen. For now, just keep an eye on him.
