Washington Capitals goaltender Philipp Grubauer stopped 29 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators last night. The loss comes as a rarity for the German goaltender, as he's won seven of his last eight starts prior to Thursday's tilt against the Preds. Braden Holtby is expected to start against the Devils tomorrow to close out the season, while the Caps' starting goaltender for the playoffs is yet to be determined, as is their first-round opponent. If Grubauer gets the call on any occasion, he is worth the price as he's put together a career year leading up to free agency.--Barry Miles
