Philipp Grubauer Looks To Return To Winning Ways
4 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Philipp Grubauer will make his 14th start of the year in Wednesday's home game against Minnesota. He'll try and get back to winning ways after getting no goal support in Monday's 3-0 loss to Vegas. Grubauer has just two losses in his last eight starts, with the Avalanche getting shut out on both occasions, so he's been let down by the offense. The German netminder carries a 9-4-0 record for the season with a 1.78 goals-against average, a .932 save percentage, and two shutouts. Minnesota has improved lately, but Grubauer hasn't dropped back-to-back starts all year and it's very tough to beat Colorado in their own barn.
