Philip Rivers Not Ruling Out Return To NFL
3 years agoFormer Chargers and Colts quarterback Philip Rivers reportedly hasn't ruled out a midseason return to the NFL should a team be in need of a QB. Speculation surrounds a potential return to the Colts, who Rivers led to an 11-5 record and an AFC Playoff appearance last season. Should Rivers suit up for Indianapolis this season, it could mean big boosts to Michael Pittman Jr., T.Y. Hilton, and Jonathan Taylor. Taylor– who finished as the RB5 in 2020– has seen his ADP has fallen in response to injuries to both Carson Wentz and Quenton Nelson. Rivers threw 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for Indianapolis last season.
