Philip Rivers Dominates Buffalo
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers completed 85% of his passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 2 win over Buffalo. Rivers tossed a pair of touchdowns in the first half to talented running back Melvin Gordon and a third to second-year wideout Mike Williams to put the game away. Rivers showed that he's still got plenty of life in his arm to make the tough throws as the touchdown to Williams was threaded through an incredibly tight window. With the plethora of weapons around him, Rivers should be in for a fantastic season and could realistically compete for an MVP at the age of 36.
