1 year agoHouston Astros relief pitcher Phil Maton (elbow) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday. The right-hander is only expected to need one appearance before rejoining the Astros bullpen. Maton has been sidelined since August 12 due to a bruised elbow. Before landing on the injured list, Maton held a 3.04 ERA with a 54/22 K/BB ratio in 53.1 innings of work. Fantasy managers should expect him back on the Astros roster as early as next week.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
