Pittsburgh Penguins forward Phil Kessel scored two goals, including the overtime winner, and added an assist in a 5-4 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night. The win was significant as the Pens are almost certainly playing the Jackets in the first round of the playoffs. Kessel is having a career year as his totals now sit at 33 goals and 90 points, the latter being a new career high. The Penguins play tonight as they close out their regular season at home against the Ottawa Senators; look for Kessel to push those totals a point or two higher against a team that has allowed 3.44 goals against per game, second worst in the league.--Barry Miles
