Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Phil Kessel tallied a natural hat trick during a 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. They were the first three goals of the season for Kessel. The 31-year-old is coming off of his best statistical season which saw him tally 34 goals, 58 assists, and 42 PPP in 82 games. Kessel is one of the best snipers in the game, plays alongside Evgeni Malkin, and has exposure to one of the best power plays in the league. He is a fantasy stud and can be rolled every night he takes the ice.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller

Veteran winger Phil Kessel has signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Vegas Golden Knights. He's switching teams after spending three seasons with Arizona and Kessel will hope to produce a bounce-back campaign in 2022-23 after finishing last season with only eight goals. He was able to register 44 assists across 82 games, so he didn't fall off the rails completely, but Kessel's fantasy stock has taken a huge hit in recent years. With that said, the 34-year-old links up with a talented group of offensive players in Vegas and he should be eager to prove that he's still got some gas left in the tank. Kessel will also aim to break a league record for most consecutive regular-season games played early next season. He needs to be in the lineup for just eight more times to move past Keith Yandle and get to 990 consecutive outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Arizona Coyotes right wing Phil Kessel couldn't find the net with four efforts on goal Tuesday night against San Jose, but he did the dirty work for others and finished an 8-7 shootout loss with four assists. It's his second career game with four-plus helpers. Kessel has only five markers for the season, so he hasn't been a great source for goals all year, but he's been in decent form since the start of last month and boasts 21 points in 30 games for the season. His line with Lawson Crouse and Johan Larsson produced a whopping 11 points in total Tuesday night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Arizona Coyotes right-winger Phil Kessel still can produce offensively with the best of them at times. He scored once and added an assist in Arizona's 6-5 overtime win in Anaheim on Friday. The two points gave Kessel five over his previous six games. He has five goals and 12 assists in 29 contests this season. While Kessel cannot muster a point-a-game pace, he can be effective offensively for short spurts. This latest run illustrates that fact. The right-winger is a decent pickup in the deepest of fantasy leagues. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Arizona Coyotes right wing Phil Kessel finished Saturday's 3-2 loss to Dallas with an assist to keep up his recent good scoring form. The Coyotes have actually resembled a hockey team over the past couple of weeks and it's allowed Kessel to grab six points in the past seven games. He had managed just five points in 14 games before the recent improvement. Kessel skates on the top line with Clayton Keller and Travis Boyd, who's quietly put together a three-game goal streak. The trio will look for further success next in a back-to-back set against Winnipeg and Minnesota.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
