Pheonix Copley Quiets The Penguins
2 years agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Pheonix Copley posted his first shutout of the season on Saturday, beating the Penguins 6-0 with 25 saves. It was a great way to celebrate a one-year extension he signed with the club just a few days ago. Copley has come almost out of nowhere to become the Kings' starter this season and his superb play has catapulted the team into the upper echelon of the Western Conference. Saturday marked only his 21st start of the campaign, but Copley already has 16 wins. He boasts a 2.77 goals-against average with a .901 save percentage and is currently on a 4-0-1 run.
