Pheonix Copley Picks Up Fifth Win Of The Season
6 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Pheonix Copley recorded his fifth win of the season on Saturday, stopping 27 pucks in a 5-3 result against the Rangers. The Caps found themselves two goals down in the middle of the second period, but they bailed Copley out in the end. His record for the season now stands at 5-2-1 with eight starts. The team is on a roll, collecting five consecutive wins, so both Copley and Braden Holtby have improved their numbers lately. The Stanley Cup champs will be back out there on Monday against the Islanders with Holtby being the likely starter.
