6 years agoNew York Mets rookie first baseman Peter Alonso went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI on Sunday in a loss to the Washington Nationals. Alonso is off to a scorching start, going 6-for-12 in his first three games with three doubles and three RBI. It appears the Mets made the right call adding Alonso to the major league roster, and as long as he continues to see regular playing time atop the New York batting order, continue to roll him out in all leagues.--Adam
