6 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Peter Alonso continued his torrid start to the season, going 2-for-4 against the Washington Nationals on Sunday. Alonso doubled and homered en route to a three-RBI game. The rookie first baseman is hitting a cool .382 to start the season with a robust 1.256 OPS. Although these numbers are not sustainable, Alonso looks like the real deal in a more capable New York Mets offense. If he is not claimed, get to your waiver wire now.--Adam
