5 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Peter Alonso went 2-for-4 with a home run, walk and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-2 win over the Cubs. The home run was his 26th of the year and tied Darryl Strawberry for the Mets' franchise rookie home run record. Alonso hasn't shown any signs of slowing down since his hot start to the season.
