6 months agoTampa Bay Rays closer Pete Fairbanks (finger) is available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The right-hander was unable to pitch on Monday due to a cut on his finger. It sounds like this is no longer an issue, so Fairbanks is good to go now. Jason Adam converted the save on Monday, but figures to go back to his role as the set-up pitcher now.
