Pete Crow-Armstrong Hits Walk-Off Home Run In Triple-A
1 year agoChicago Cubs outfield prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run to win the game on Tuesday night. Crow-Armstrong was promoted to Triple-A at the beginning of August and has fit right in. The Cubs' top prospect is slashing .289/.407/.622 with four home runs, three doubles, and seven RBI in 11 games in Triple-A. Crow-Armstrong has also displayed good plate discipline, with eight walks to 13 strikeouts since August 1. Crow-Armstrong can hit for average and has decent power with plus speed. The 21-year-old could be a late-season addition to the Cubs' lineup due to his strong play in Triple-A, but if not, he almost certainly will join the team next year. The Cubs' prospect is a valuable asset in dynasty leagues.
