Pete Crow-Armstrong Continues To Rake In Single-A
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfield prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong continued his impressive season for Single-A Myrtle Beach on Wednesday. Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-5 on the evening with three runs, one RBI and a pair of stolen bases. The 20-year-old missed most of 2021 after having surgery to fix a torn labrum in his non-throwing right shoulder last year, but hasn't missed a beat in 2022. For the season, the 2020 first-round pick is now hitting an absurd .363 with six home runs, 25 RBI and 12 stolen bases to go along with a shiny 1.015 OPS. Acquired from the New York Mets for Javier Baez during last years trade deadline, the talented outfielder is sure looking like a steal for the Cubs at the moment. Health has been the outfielder's biggest obstacle throughout his young professional career, but the talent is clearly there and Crow-Armstrong has the ability to help managers across the board in the future. Although the young outfielder is likely a couple years away from helping fantasy managers, he should be on the radar in dynasty leagues.
