Pete Alonso Homers, Remains Hot On Friday
3 years agoOn Friday, New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Mets 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. As has been the case recently, Alonso accounted for the only runs scored by the struggling Mets offense. Over the past seven games, Alonso is batting .286/.333/.607 with two home runs and six RBI. More impressively, since the All-Star break, Alonso has ten home runs and an OPS of .896. On the season, Alonso is batting .258/.340/.504 with 27 home runs, 17 doubles, and 71 RBI. As one of the most consistent power hitters in baseball, Alonso should remain active in all fantasy formats.
