Pekka Rinne Plays Very Well In Losing Effort
6 years agoNashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne, who stopped 29 of 30 shots, gave everything he had to extend the team's winning streak away from home to nine games on Monday against the Ducks, but he had to settle for a 2-1 shootout loss in the end. Predators missed the chance to tie the 2009-10 New Jersey Devils for the second-longest road winning streak to begin a season. Rinne, who returned from a concussion at the start of the month, has been lights out in November with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .976 save percentage. He has a 6-1-1 record for the season with a 1.47 goals-against average and a .951 save percentage, leading the league in both categories.
