Paxton Lynch Shines In First Preseason Game
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks backup quarterback Paxton Lynch looked like a star when he was on the field against his former team on Thursday. Lynch took over from Geno Smith and commanded the second half of the game, throwing for 109 yards and a touchdown. Lynch's 11-for-15 performance garnered a lot of attention since it came against his former squad, but it was especially critical because he was viewed as trailing in the competition to be Seattle's backup QB this season. Since Smith struggled and Lynch excelled, expect this competition to go down to the wire.
