St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich tallied two goals and an assist as the team crushed the Panthers 4-1 on away ice on Thursday. Following a goalless first period, Buchnevich's good work helped St. Louis grab a 2-0 lead in the second frame, and the Blues eventually managed to shake off the hosts. His first goal ended up as the game-winner, and Buchnevich completed his third three-point night of the season with an empty-netter. Buchnevich has been going through an inconsistent period this month, but he is among St. Louis' biggest attacking threats and has done well across the entire campaign. 12 goals put Buchnevich tied for the team lead, and he's bagged 26 points in total across 30 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich netted a hat trick and recorded one assist as the team narrowed the deficit to 2-1 in its first-round series against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night, clinching a 7-2 victory. Buchnevich scored twice within the first 3:11 of play and completed his first career playoff hat trick early in the third period. The 30-year-old also made his physical presence known, recording six hits in 18:58 of ice time. Although the Blues are down in the series, Buchnevich has performed well at the start of the postseason, compiling a three-game point streak with three goals and three assists. St. Louis Blues left wing Pavel Buchnevich tallied three points during their 6-1 victory over the Utah Hockey Club on Tuesday evening. Buchnevich did all of his damage in the opening frame. He first tallied the secondary assist on Brayden Schenn's goal. Later, he would find the back of the net on a snapshot, which would eventually serve as the game-winner. He would then add his second helper, this time a secondary assist on Jimmy Snuggerud's power-play goal. This was Buchnevich's second three-point outing over his last three contests. Over his last eight contests, Buchnevich has found the back of the net six times and added four helpers. He will look to carry this momentum into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich (illness) is on track to return to the lineup on Friday against the Colorado Avalanche. The Russian star has battled an illness lately, missing four games. Buchnevich's return could bump Zack Bolduc out of the top six. The Blues have heated up lately with eight consecutive wins, putting Buchnevich in a good position to keep building on a solid season. He has notched 47 points (14 goals, 33 assists) in 68 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

St. Louis Blues left wing Pavel Buchnevich (illness) was not at Tuesday's morning skate and is unlikely to play this evening against the Montreal Canadiens. Buchnevich was unable to play in the previous two contests and is expected to miss his third-straight game. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Thursday evening when the Blues travel to Nashville to face the Predators. Through 10 games this month, Buchnevich has found the back of the net twice and added four helpers. Over his previous 14 contests, Buchnevich has tallied 13 points (three goals) with four of his coming on the power play. While Buchnevich remains sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Zachary Bolduc to continue to have a role in the St. Louis top-six.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
