Paul Sewald Secures 15th Save On Wednesday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners pitcher Paul Sewald struck out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the New York Yankees. He entered the game in the ninth inning to protect a one-run lead. The 32-year-old tossed a perfect inning to earn his 15th save of the season. He has been terrific this season, posting a 2.31 ERA, 0.64 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts across 46 2/3 innings in 2022. Sewald is Seattle's primary closer, and fantasy managers should continue to roll with him in all leagues.
