Paul Sewald Picks Up One-Out Save Friday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Paul Sewald appears to be firmly a part of the picture in terms of saves to start the second half of the year. Sewald relieved top reliever Kendall Graveman in this 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Angels, giving up a single to Jared Walsh before retiring Phil Gosselin on a fly ball to right field to secure the game. Sewald now has three saves on the year, and could be in line for an even bigger piece of the pie if Graveman is moved. Fantasy managers should add him now, and cross fingers that he keeps up his production and inherits a bigger role.
