3 years agoThe Seattle Mariners have placed relief pitcher Paul Sewald on the COVID-19 injured list. Fellow relief pitcher Penn Murfee was called up from Triple-A in a corresponding move. No reason for Sewald's move to the COVID-19 injured list has been released by the team yet. The 31-year-old has been stellar over four appearances so far this year. He's pitched 3 2/3 innings and has yet to allow a walk or a hit while recording three strikeouts. He's one of the team's top setup men and could wind up seeing some saves opportunities this year as well.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
