Paul Millsap Plays 23 Minutes in Return From Injury
7 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward Paul Millsap made his long-awaited return from a wrist injury Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. He played 23 minutes and had a pretty solid game, all things considered. Millsap scored nine points on 4-for-10 shooting to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. Once Millsap is playing his usual 32 to 35 minutes, owners should expect top-50 play from him. Also, it has yet to be seen how Millsap will impact the rest of the Nuggets high-usage players. However, one thing is clear: Trey Lyles' days as a legit fantasy asset appear to be over, as he played just five minutes in this game. Millsap's next game is against the Memphis Grizzlies, so owners should keep an eye out for his usage and minutes going forward.
