Paul Millsap Comes Up Big Off The Bench
5 years agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Paul Millsap played a big part in Monday's 127-120 victory over San Antonio, scoring 22 points in just 19 minutes off the bench. He made a team-high four triples and shot 8-for-13 overall, adding seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block. It was a spectacular performance from the veteran who turned 35 on Monday. Millsap is back from a knee injury, which kept him out of action for a month, and he's done good work in limited minutes, averaging 17 points, nine rebounds, and 3.5 assists. He'll face a Lakers side next against whom Millsap has put together a pair of 21-point games this season.
