Paul Goldschmidt Takes A Seat
3 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The veteran slugger has been quiet in August and as a result will take a seat on Sunday. The seven-time All-Star is hitting .226 with 19 home runs and 49 RBI in 123 games this season. In his absence, Alec Burleson will shift to first base and bat second against right-hander Zebby Matthews. Fantasy managers looking for help should consider adding Burleson. He's hitting .274 with 21 home runs and 70 RBI in 120 games this season.
