2 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have officially placed first baseman Paul Goldschmidt on the restricted list. He will remain on the restricted list during the team's two-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays this week as he is not vaccinated against COVID-19, making him unable to enter Canada. Albert Pujols is getting the start at first base for Tuesday's game. After the Cardinals' two-game series with the Blue Jays, the team is off on Thursday, then they will travel to Washington for a three-game series against the Nationals. So the next time we'll see Goldschmidt on the field will be when the All-Star is well rested on Friday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
