Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George scored 19 points during Friday’s win over the Charlotte Hornets, adding seven rebounds, six assists and two steals. His contributions across other categories was vital, as George failed to reach the 20-point mark for the first time in his last seven games, ceding primary control of the offense back to Russell Westbrook. George is still a high-level fantasy commodity, it’s just worth tempering expectations. He draws a tough matchup Saturday against the Denver Nuggets, who have yielded the third-fewest points per game (103.4) in the league this season.--Jesse Borek

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Paul George (groin, knee) will not return to the court during the 2024-25 season. Sources have told ESPN's Shams Charania that George has been ruled out for the rest of the season after receiving injections in his left adductor muscle and left knee on Monday. This means that George finishes his debut campaign in Philadelphia with only 41 appearances. He averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.8 steals in 32.5 minutes. George, who will turn 35 on May 2, signed a four-year max contract worth $212 million with the 76ers last summer. This has proven to be a terrible deal for the 76ers, who are on track to finish a season with fewer than 30 wins for the first time since 2016-17.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. George has missed four games in a row and is set to miss his fifth game. The injury report notes that George's absence is due to groin soreness, and the Philadelphia 76ers have not placed a timeline on George's return yet. George, who signed a four-year, $212 million max deal with the Philadelphia 76ers after five seasons with the LA Clippers, is averaging only 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 41 games.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

Shams Charania of ESPN reports that Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Paul George (groin) is consulting with doctors on treatment options for his groin and knee injuries. A decision will be made on whether he'll need a procedure to address either injury. George has missed four consecutive contests dealing with the nagging injuries. He will likely be out of action against Indiana on Friday and Sunday in Dallas as a treatment plan for the 34-year-old will be decided upon next week. With just over a month left in the season, George could very well be shut down since the Sixers don't have much riding on the rest of the season.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Philadelphia 76ers' guard/forward, Paul George (groin), won't play against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday or the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. George has been dealing with injury issues all season long and will miss the next two 76ers games due to groin soreness. Fantasy managers should monitor his status throughout the week, as the 34-year-old could return Friday versus the Pacers.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
