Paul George Picks Up A Double-Double In Thursday's Win
4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers shooting guard Paul George had a double-double performance in Thursday's win over Charlotte, leading the team with 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He also dished out six assists and recorded one steal with three turnovers. George shot a nice 5-for-13 from downtown with a 7-for-19 effort overall from the field. It's his first 20-point game in three outings, and his first double-double since April 28 when he managed three double-doubles in four games. The Clippers seem to be in cruise control ahead of the playoffs, with both George and Kawhi Leonard underwhelming in their scoring efforts. With two of the league's bottom-feeders in Houston and OKC next on the schedule, the Clippers can sleepwalk over the finish line.
