Paul George Goes For 29 And 11 In Season Debut
3 years agoLos Angeles Clippers shooting guard/small forward Paul George had a big game in a losing effort against the Golden State Warriors in the team's season opener. He shot 12-for-23 from the field on the way to a team-high 29 points. He hit five three-pointers and also added 11 rebounds, six assists and a steal while committing three turnovers. George is slated to have a massive usage rate this year with Kawhi Leonard (knee) likely out for the entirety of the season. Last year, George averaged 23.3 points per game while attempting 17.6 field goals per game. There's a good chance we see both of those numbers increase significantly this year as he'll frequently need to put the Clippers on his back.
