Paul George Comes To Life With 36-Point Effort
4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers shooting guard Paul George regained his scoring form in Tuesday's win over Portland, leading all scorers with 36 points on 11-for-18 shooting. He went 6-for-9 with the three-ball and 8-for-8 at the line with five assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block. This marks his first 30-point outing since the All-Star break and only his fifth game with 20-plus points. PG13 was averaging 23.7 points a night before the break, but he's now getting only 18.4 a game, which is a massive drop-off. Luckily for the Clippers, they have other weapons in their arsenal, but clearly, an improvement is needed from George. He won't be in a good spot to start building momentum as the Clippers face a tough Phoenix squad next.
