Paul George Bounces Back In Loss
4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Paul George saw increased usage in the absence of Kawhi Leonard (back) on Tuesday. George dropped a team-high 32 points, adding five triples, five rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 39 minutes. The 30-year-old took a season-high 26 shots- and was able to be efficient despite the increase in volume. Considering that Leonard was a late scratch with back spasms and the All-Star break is just days away, the Clippers may opt for the cautious approach with one of their stars. If so, George could be looking at increased usage once again in a favorable matchup with the Wizards, who just allowed 30 points and six treys to the star forward last week.
