6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong received positive news on his broken hand, with an exam showing significant healing. DeJong underwent surgery to insert a metal plate and screws on May 18. Follow up tests have shown good progress, perhaps making DeJong available closer to the short end of the original four-to-eight week timeline.
