7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Paul Blackburn (forearm) threw on Saturday as scheduled, according to Martin Gallegos of The Mercury News. The plan is for him to pitch every other day to continue to build up his arm strength. There is no timeline for his return. Manager Bob Melvin said, "I think he felt pretty good after throwing. Until he gets on a mound, we’re not really sure what the timetable is." He does not need to be owned at this time.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
