Patriots Confident In Stephen Gostkowski
5 years agoNew England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said he's confident in kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who has missed four kicks in two games. "Honestly, I think Steve has hit the ball well," Belichick said. "I understand we’ve had a couple of missed kicks in games, I see that, but on a day-to-day basis, you don’t see that very often." The 35-year-old kicker has made six of his seven field-goal attempts in three games, but he's also missed three of his 13 extra-point attempts so far on the season. Despite the uncharacteristic misses on extra points, Gostkowski should be fine in the long run and remains one of the stronger fantasy kickers. New England's offense should continue to give him plenty of chances to score points for his owners.
